Simon King is coming to SECHELT for one night only bringing his darkest hour of material for a very special show!

SIMON KING has been called “one of the greatest comedians of his generation” and it’s easy to see why. With credits including HBO, Just For Laughs, CBC, CTV, Comedy Central, Comedy Network, Winnipeg Comedy Festival, Las Vegas Comedy Festival (To name just a few) this comedy veteran brings a unique, edgy, energetic, intelligent style to the stage that is unmatched anywhere in stand up comedy.

After the release of his critical acclaimed special “As Good As Or Better Than” directed by Rory Scovel, Simon follows up with his darkest hour to date. Straddling the topics of suicide, homelessness, AI, vaccines, sex work , late stage capitalism, environmental collapse and most importantly the very reason dark comedy is the best.

If you’re not familiar with Simon it’s best to look him up before you come but you can be assured this isn’t some right wing “I’m dangerous because I say all the taboo words” temper tantrum. This is real, smart, hilariously dark comedy for people who appreciate laughing in the face of the hard things.
